A SHIPPING COMPANY EMPLOYING

A shipping company is in need of an EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL (Commercial Shipping) to develop the Roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) export sector from Nigeria.

Applicants should have a well documented background from within the commercial sector of the Nigerian shipping industry.
Candidates with a background working for any major import/export company and having experience of heavy industrial equipment or similar, especially rolling equipment are also invited to apply.

General Requirements:
• Fluency in English Language, both oral and written.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of IT software including MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
• An ability to make and deliver effective presentations.
• A willingness to work outside office hours.

Specific Requirements:
• Experience working with imports/exports of equipment into and from Nigeria.
• Experience of handling imports from the Far East would be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the business.
• Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and the shipping industry in general.
• Age from 27 years with a mature personality and outlook
• An ability to work under pressure with limited supervision.

Remuneration:
• Salary commensurate with experience.
